Ok... either the USofA, NATO or Israel is giving the Liberation of Damascus army assistance. You just don't "kill" the Defence Minister of a country, one such as Syria, without a little bit of help. For the mere fact that these Syrian insurgents are keeping this thing going should give you an idea that they are externally funded- to the hilt!
